The Heyseas

Tortola, BVI · 10 to 12 guests · All-inclusive Caribbean terms

Five 60 foot Heysea sailing catamarans out of Road Town, all new, all all-inclusive, all starting at $42,000 a week. They share a hull and a spec sheet, so the difference is the crew, the cabin count and who is free for your dates.

From Britt

I have toured these yachts myself, and I am excited about them. They feel every bit as luxurious as the Sunreefs I have been aboard, at a noticeably lower price point.

That is the whole reason this page exists. If you have been pricing the big-name catamarans and flinching, start here instead.

One hull, five boats

What all five have in common

All five are the Heysea SV60, a 60 foot sailing catamaran drawn by Bill Dixon with Heysea’s superyacht team. Twenty eight feet of beam and around 30 percent more living space than most boats this length, with a hydraulic swim platform, a flybridge with its own helm and grill, and a sunbathing pad where the trampolines usually are.

The part guests notice at 2am: 1,700 watts of solar and a 58kWh lithium bank run the air conditioning all night without the generator. Induction cooking rather than propane, Starlink aboard, and the same deep toy inventory on every boat.

The five

Which one you want

Same boat, different crews and cabin counts. Here is how I tell them apart when a group asks.

Atlas

Heysea 60 · Built 2025
12 guests 7 cabins 5 queen en suites + 2 single forepeaks, 8 heads

The one with the charter video and a wall of reviews. Atlas is the 2025 boat in the fleet, US flagged, with a compressor aboard, Starlink, a karaoke machine and 1,700 watts of solar feeding a 58kWh lithium bank that runs the air conditioning overnight without the generator.

Chrisjan is an RYA Yachtmaster Instructor who will teach you as much of the sailing as you want to learn, and Cleona cooks the kind of food guests write paragraphs about. Twelve adults fit comfortably.

  • →E-foils, subwing and two sea scooters
  • →Air compressor onboard for tanks
  • →Starlink, karaoke and a bean-to-cup coffee maker
  • →Crew can move to the forepeaks for 12-guest charters, arranged in advance

Tupelo Honey

Heysea 60 · Built 2027
12 guests 7 cabins 5 queen en suites + 2 single forepeaks, 7 heads

Brand new for 2027 and BVI flagged. Same hull and layout as Atlas, so twelve guests get five queens plus two single forepeaks, and the lithium bank runs the air conditioning all night without the generator humming under your cabin.

Captain John has six years running catamarans through the Caribbean and the US East Coast. Chef Matthew comes out of Michelin-recognised kitchens and does coastal American, Mediterranean and Italian, with handmade pasta and serious seafood.

  • →Menus built per charter around your preferences
  • →Hydraulic swim platform off the stern
  • →E-foils, subwing, two sea scooters
  • →Starlink internet aboard

Audacity

Heysea 60 · Built 2027
12 guests 5 cabins 5 queen en suites, owner’s suite sleeps 4 with a pull-out

The three-crew boat, and the only one in the fleet with a dedicated mate and mixologist. Five queen en suites rather than forepeaks, so every guest is in a proper cabin, and the owner’s suite takes a pull-out sleeper that gets you to twelve when kids are aboard.

Westley has been in yachting since 2018 and came up through operations, so nothing catches him out. Leandri cooks, Vaughn runs the bar, the cigars and the service, and between them the week feels staffed rather than managed.

  • →Three crew: captain, chef and mate
  • →Mixology, cigar and chocolate service
  • →Hydraulic swim platform, e-foils and subwing
  • →Overnight air conditioning off the battery bank

$42,000 Starting / week, all-inclusive

Viridian

Heysea 60 · Built 2026
12 guests 7 cabins 5 queen en suites + 2 single forepeaks

Same 60 foot Heysea platform, same all-inclusive Caribbean terms, sleeping twelve across five queens and two forepeaks. If your dates are tight, Viridian is often the one with room when the others are gone.

Ask me for her current crew and this season’s availability, and I will send the full brochure alongside whichever sister boat is also open.

  • →Twelve guests across seven cabins
  • →All-inclusive Caribbean terms
  • →Overnight air conditioning off the battery bank
  • →Full toy inventory, same as the fleet

$42,000 Starting / week, all-inclusive

Rum Runner

Heysea 60 · Built 2026
10 guests 5 cabins 5 cabins for up to 10 guests

The ten-guest boat in the fleet, which in practice means more room per person than her twelve-berth sisters. Same Heysea 60 hull, same inclusive terms, and the same deck space and toys.

A good fit for two or three families who want the big-boat feel without filling every berth. Ask me who is crewing her for your dates.

  • →Ten guests in five cabins, more space per person
  • →All-inclusive Caribbean terms
  • →Same toy inventory as the fleet
  • →Overnight air conditioning off the battery bank

Rates

What a week costs

All five price by headcount from the same table, so a smaller group pays less. The rate covers three meals a day and drinks including alcohol, fuel, moorings, BVI taxes and park fees, the crew, linens and daily housekeeping. Gratuity is separate and is covered below.

Guests Winter 26/27 & Summer 27 Winter 27/28 & Summer 28
2 guests $42,000 $43,000
4 guests $44,000 $45,000
6 guests $46,000 $47,000
8 guests $48,000 $49,000
10 guests $50,000 $51,000
12 guests $56,000 $57,000

Holiday weeks, seven night minimum, 2 to 12 guests: Christmas $60,000 and must end by 26 December; New Year $75,000 and must start 28 December or later. Six night charters are the weekly rate divided by seven and multiplied by six; five nights or fewer are the weekly rate divided by six and multiplied by the nights. Sleep aboard the night before is half the applicable daily rate. Children under 12 come off the rate, as do infants. Relocations: St. Thomas or St. John $750 each way; St. Martin, St. Barts or Anguilla $5,000 plus a 72 hour turnaround. Atlas and Viridian carry slightly different 11 and 12 guest steps, so I will confirm your exact number. Rates and availability are subject to confirmation at time of booking.

The meal plan options

As standard the chef cooks three meals a day. If your group would rather eat ashore more often, both plans keep breakfast aboard every day and take money off the rate.

Half board keeps 7 breakfasts, 4 lunches and 3 dinners aboard and takes $150 per person off. Local fare keeps 7 breakfasts, 5 lunches and 6 dinners aboard and takes $100 per person off. Remaining meals are ashore at your expense, which in the BVI is half the fun.

Half board $150 off per person
Half board, party of 12 $1,800 off the charter rate
Local fare $100 off per person
Local fare, party of 12 $1,200 off the charter rate
One thing to know

A word on gratuity

Crew gratuity is the one cost not in the rate above. In the Caribbean it runs 15 to 20 percent of the charter rate, paid directly to the crew at the end of your week, and the amount is always yours to decide based on how the week went. I would rather it be on this page than a surprise on the last morning.

Standard range 15 to 20% of the charter rate
On a $42,000 week $6,300 to $8,400 paid at the end
Per person, 12 guests $525 to $700 for the week
Paid to Crew directly at the end of the charter
