My Story

My husband and I chartered for ten years before we ever owned a boat ourselves. We tried different yachts, different crews, different islands, and somewhere in there I fell hard for this world. When we finally bought our own yacht, Kerry Lee, I knew this was what I wanted to spend my life doing. I became a CYBA-certified broker so I would understand this business inside and out, for my own guests and for the owners I work with.

Along the way I've chartered with the big companies and the small ones, in Greece, Croatia, and St. Lucia. We bought Kerry Lee in the British Virgin Islands before we had ever been there, and our first trip was the BVI on our own boat. It's my home away from home now, and it's still the best place in the world to start if you've never sailed before.

How I Work

I'm not running a call center or a listing site. I spend time in the destinations I book: chartering, meeting crews, and getting to know the yachts and the management companies behind them. So when I match you with a charter, it's because I know it fits, not because it happened to be open. When you reach out, you're reaching me directly, and I've usually sailed the itinerary myself. How long that takes depends entirely on the client, and I'll do whatever it takes to find the right charter experience for you. None of this costs you anything. The yacht pays my commission, so having me in your corner never adds to your rate. Think of me as your travel guru: the yacht, the crew, the itinerary, and the travel around it, all shaped to your group.

A Little More About Me

I grew up on the water. My dad raced speedboats and used to take me out to Lake Powell and Lake Mead, and we spent a lot of time at his property in Belize, deep sea fishing and cruising on big fisher yachts. Being on a boat has never felt like a vacation to me, it's just always felt like home.

These days I'm a mom of three, and my oldest is on the autism spectrum, so I know firsthand that a good trip depends on details most people never notice. I also founded Run Away With Me, an all-inclusive wedding company in Napa and Sonoma, and I plan other people's biggest days for a living. Your itinerary gets the same care I'd put into a wedding.

The best times I've had with my kids have all been on boats. There's nowhere to disappear to, so you end up together, which never quite happens at a resort or on a cruise ship. Fun fact, my one and only cruise is where I got pregnant with my oldest, who's 24 now.
